Our training classes will take place in “live” work place settings. Students could earn up to 80 hours of paid experience. Our On-the-Ground Coach, along with our Site Training Partners, will work together to provide real world training in the culinary field. Gain the necessary skills and experience to enter an the exciting world of the Foodservice/Hospitality Industry.
Classroom Experience
Our award winning educators who have over 20 years of Education Experience, coupled by over 35 years of Culinary experience, have created an all inclusive program that will guide students from the interview process to the first day on the job. Workshops take place at the training site to ease students into their learning experience. Workshops include Inclusion (Diversity) Training, Time Management, Professional Voice and Dress, Introductions, First Day Expectations, and the State Mandated Food Safety Training. The Workshop Experience will culminate with a facility tour and staff introductions.
Culinary Skills
Students will be placed in one of our “live” workplace training sites during this paid learning experience. Working with our On-the-Ground Coach, students will experience what it is like to work through a real world learning environment. The training site’s staff will guide students through the basic skills necessary to be successful in their operations.
After two weeks of “live” training, students head back to the classroom with the On-the-Ground Coach as we begin reflections and resume writing.
